To find the Power Manager Service, press WIN + R and type: services. Right click on the Power Manager Service and select Start. In the list of services, double click on the Power Manager Service. Note: After you start the Power Manager Service, the configuration will be applied on the next switch from the logged on user. If the power manager service was not running, the configuration will be applied on the login screen. Click on the Startup tab, then click on the Properties button. In the Startup Properties window, click on the Startup tab and then click on the Properties button. In the Properties window, click on the Startup tab and then click on the Settings button. Select Run on fast user switch. Click on the OK button to save the settings, then click on the OK button. Click on the OK button to close the Properties window. When the user logs out, the scheduled task starts running again. The task can even run when the user has no account, by having it run when the computer is started. This is used for example, for making the Windows Update and Windows Explorer programs start automatically when the computer is started.
